I’d be lying if I said I was full of piss and vinegar right now. Truth is, I’m more full of caffeine and masking exhaustion. That being said, it’s been a bloody great week, so let’s dive in.

First up, I’ve been grinding away on the Charlie scene, and things are really starting to come together. Charlie looks fantastic, and the scene has exactly the vibe I wanted when I built the environment. I’m excited to keep pushing forward with this one because it’s been an absolute blast so far.

I did take a break on Saturday morning to actually play an AVN, which is something I hardly get time for anymore. A fellow dev reached out, and after hitting it off on Discord, Nuii and I decided to check out his game. Nuii dove in first and immediately told me to put everything aside and give it a try. Based on his enthusiasm, I binged everything currently available, and it was worth it. The game is called Demon Seed and it was a fucking blast. It had everything I love about AVNs: strong artwork, a compelling story, and some seriously hot girls. If you’ve got downtime and want something new to play, I highly recommend checking it out.

In other news, Nuii has been showing me more of the Akari animations, and they are looking fantastic. He also managed to sneak a Moonlight reference into his upcoming chapter. I don’t deserve this guy.

Finally, I managed 124 renders this week, which brings the total for the chapter up to 1,390. I’m a little gutted I didn’t hit that 1,400 milestone, but progress is progress. I’ll keep grinding and see how high I can push the numbers this week.
