This week, I took a few days off from my full-time job to chill and reset a bit. It was much needed, and honestly, once I started to unwind, the creative flow came back strong. I’ve now got five scenes written for Chapter 2, and the plan is to finish the full script before jumping into any renders.

I learned from how I approached Chapter 1—not that it was bad, but constantly switching between writing and rendering really disrupted my momentum. This time around, having a focused pre-production phase feels way more structured and productive.

One pain point this week was trying to find the right environment for the opening scene. Nothing in the DAZ ecosystem quite hit the mark, so I started testing a new workflow to pull assets from other platforms like FAB, Cosmos, BlendKit, etc. After a bit of trial and error, I’ve landed on a setup that works. The best part? I’m no longer limited to just the DAZ store, which means I can shape the world exactly how I envision it.

Huge shoutout to LeEclipse for letting me feature his character in this chapter. She’s stunning, and I’ve been wanting to give her a short but sweet interaction with the MC. I really appreciate the trust, and I’m excited to bring her to life in the upcoming renders.

I’ve got more time off later this week, so I’m planning to sink some serious hours into the game. My goal is to hit the halfway mark on the script and start building out more of the sets for this chapter.
